Singapore
February 19, 2019
Don’t expect to see the sun if you visit Singapore in February, like I did. Wasn’t raining too bad though, I’d say constant drizzling but that’s about it. The good thing is that Singapore is rich of indoor activities, a hefty abundance of fancy malls, lots of rooftop bars and restaurants.
Resembling Dubai a lot, both cities are similar in terms of architecture, pretentious nightlife, internationalism, and generally being an undebatable business hub. The city of Singapore is beautiful to visit.
Excellent street food can be found, the cuisine there is a mix between Chinese, Indian and Malay.
Marina bay gardens, pretty uniquely designed three buildings, all connected from the top, overlooking the (bay?) and the (garden). Three rooftop bars, one on each building are exquisite.
I was doing a lot of partying while there for the weekend, so excuse the lack of city information and photos. The partying was on point, however; Singapore is a proper party town. You can find all tastes, lots of clubs, amazing speakeasys, and a heavy abundance of live music. Not a city to get bored at.
